Rebrand Strategy
When product development firm Kaleidoscope Innovation was acquired by Infosys Limited, a $100BN multinational information tech company, they were charged with increasing sales from $27M to $275M in ten years. Though they had produced some of the world’s most advanced medical devices as well as iconic product designs (Swiffer Wet Jet and the Tide pod), the Kaleidoscope name was relatively unknown and their branding lacked the spark and cohesiveness needed to take them to ambitious new heights.
After completing a competitive review, company-wide survey, and 1-on-1 leadership interviews, my design partner and I developed a rebrand strategy that gave the company the visual and written tools to step confidently into their new branding. Along with post-rebrand marketing efforts, Kaleidoscope saw a 37% year-over-year increase in social media engagement, 580% increase in visits to the company’s news page, and 53% email open rate (compared to 30% industry average).
